Navigate any GPX track or create routes with BMaps Navigation. Whether you are on the road by car, motorcycle or bicycle, or you are on a hike, with BMaps Navigation you are never lost.

With BMaps Navigation you can

  • Generate navigation instructions for any GPX tracks
  • Generate a route from your current location to a specific destination
  • Generate a route with a start location, your destination and optionally you can set multiple via-points

BMaps Navigation only requires an internet connection to get the navigation instructions. Without an internet connection, you can still follow your location on the map and follow a GPX track.

  • 1. Menu: Offers access to Import GPX tracks, Favorites, Clear map & Settings.
  • 2. Search: Open search bar for address lookup and search history.
  • 3. Compass: The compass rotates with the map. Click on compass to rotate the map to the north.
  • 4. Locator: Short press to jump to your current location. Long press to enable Follow-Mode.

GPX tracks

Import and navigate GPX tracks

1. Open menu and click on Import GPX

2. Select GPX track

3. Click OK to import GPX track

4. Click play button to start navigation

5. Select vehicle type and click on Start Route

6. Navigation will automatically stop when destination is reached. Click Stop button to put navigation on hold

Create route

Set start, destination and one or more via points and navigate your newly created route

1. Longpress anywhere on the map, center on a specific location and click on check mark

2. Select Set start and repeat longpress to Set via and Set destination

3. Click Create route button after points are added to the map

4. Select vehicle type and profile

5. Click play button to start navigation

6. Navigation will automatically stop when destination is reached. Click Stop button to put navigation on hold

Manage maps

Currently, BMaps Navigation works with offline maps. This means you must download map files at first use

1. At first start of the app, click Download Maps to add maps to your device. Your browser will go to the download site.

2. Select map files by continent and country. Your browser will handle the download.

3. Once the download finishes, go to Settings and select Import Maps, and select the downloaded map files. The maps are then added to BMaps and shown on your screen

4. To download additional maps, open menu, click on Settings and click on Manage Maps

5. A list of installed maps is visible. You can remove any unused maps or click on Download Maps to download maps by continent and country.

Bookmarks

You can save your favorite locations as bookmarks

1. Longpress anywhere on the map, center on a specific location and click on check mark

2. Select Save as bookmark

3. Enter a name for your bookmark

4. View saved bookmarks

5. Click on a saved bookmark to show options
